This afternoon Minnesota United made a statement announcing the club has declined the options of 5 different players for the 2020 season. Rasmus Schuller, Collin Martin, Carter Manley, Wilfried Moimbé-Tahrat and Ally Hamis Ng’anzi will not be returning to MNUFC next Spring.
Rasmus Schüller was signed by the club for 2017 prior to the teams first season in Major League Soccer. During the 2019 season Schüller made 15 appearances and 11 starts for the Loons in 2019, with all but two of those appearances coming before June. His last appearance in a match came on August 11th in a 5-3 loss to FC Dallas.
