Gasper Called Into January Camp

U.S. Men’s National Team Head Coach Greg Berhalter has called up MNUFC defender Chase Gasper and 24 other players to participate in a nearly month-long training stint. The USMNT will train and played closed-door scrimmages from Jan. 5–25 at the Aspire Academy in Doha, Qatar, before returning to Los Angeles to face CONCACAF rival Costa Rica on Feb. 1 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

The 23-year-old has represented the U.S. at multiple levels, with nine appearances for the U21 team and 12 for the U18 team. Gasper was called up to USMNT pre-camp in November but did not make the final roster for the Concacaf Nationals League Group.
