Forward Madison picked up a crucial 1-0 win over the Richmond Kickers thanks to a 74th minute goal from defender Pato Díaz.
Forward Paulo Junior found some space on the left side and dragged Richmond keeper Akira Fitzgerald out from the goal. Junior hit the ball towards the goal, where it found the path of Díaz as he put the ball into the back of the net from close range.
It was Díaz’s first career goal for Forward Madison which gave them the win and three points that vaults the Flamingos up to third in the table.
