The newest club in MLS, Los Angeles FC, will be making several additions to its 2018 MLS roster tomorrow through the Expansion Draft. Like Minnesota United did last year, LAFC will select five players from teams across the league to be added to their squad ahead of next season.
However, LAFC will not be able to select just any player in the draft. The other 22 clubs each released a list of eleven players they wish to protect following the Half-Day Trade Window on Sunday. Homegrown and Generation adidas players are automatically protected in addition to the protected list.
