Eric Miller Traded to New York City FC

Minnesota United today announced it has traded defender Eric Miller to New York City FC for $50,000 in General Allocation Money.

MNUFC acquired Miller and $50,000 in GAM from Colorado Rapids in exchange for Sam Nicholson on May 2, 2018. The versatile defender is a native of Woodbury, Minnesota and played youth soccer in the state. He made his first MNUFC start on May 5 against the Vancouver Whitecaps and finished the 2018 season with 18 game appearances across 1,145 minutes and one assist.

Miller first joined MLS in 2014, when he was drafted fifth overall in the MLS SuperDraft by Montreal Impact.
