MNUFC will kick off its fifth season in Major League Soccer where the club’s 2020 season ended, at Seattle Sounders. The game will be nationally broadcast on Friday, April 16 at 8:30 p.m. CT on FS1. The following week, the Loons return to Saint Paul for the home opener at Allianz Field, facing off against Real Salt Lake on Saturday, April 24 at 7:00 p.m. CT.
“It will certainly bring back some memories and a lot of emotions from last year,” said Minnesota United Head Coach Adrian Heath on going to Seattle for the season opener. “But going back we know how hard we worked to get to get to where we were last year and that has to be the reflection, the work we put in during the year and what it helped us achieve.
