MINNEAPOLIS -- Miguel Sano had an impressive night, going 2-for-4 with an RBI double while also making a diving play at third base, to help the Twins to a 6-4 win over the Royals on a rainy Friday night in the series opener at Target Field that saw two weather delays totaling two hours and 24 minutes.
Sano, playing in his sixth game after a six-week stint in the Minors to work on his conditioning and swing after offseason shin surgery, ripped a two-run double as part of a three-run second inning against Royals starter Heath Fillmyer.
