As Willi Castro popped out to shortstop Ezequiel Tovar to end the game between the Twins and Rockies on Saturday, Minnesota dropped its second straight matchup against Colorado, which is by far the worst team in Major League Baseball this season with a 24-74 win-loss record.
After losing the series against the Rockies, the Twins dropped four games below .500 with a 47-51 win-loss record. As it stands, Minnesota trails the Detroit Tigers by 11 ½ games for first place in the American League Central and sits five games back for the third and final American League Wild Card spot.
