Among the Minnesota Twins' top prospects, there is no shortage of pitching. Of the club's Top 30 prospects, 14 of them are pitchers, including Twins Minor League Pitcher of the Year Connor Prielipp (No. 9) and 6-foot-5 teenager Dasan Hill (No. 7), who is climbing the ladder at an astronomical rate.
Towards the bottom of the list is No. 24 Jose Olivares. a 22-year-old right-hander with a world of promise. Unfortunately, that potential may not come fruition within the Twins' organization. With the 2025 MLB Rule 5 Draft coming up on December 10 in Orlando, Florida, Olivares is Rule 5 eligible and is the likeliest player to get taken from Minnesota.
