Twins: J.R. Graham to get start Saturday

J.R. Graham will make his first major league start for the Twins against the Brewers Saturday at Target Field. A Rule 5 pick from Atlanta last December, Graham has been a starter for most of his professional career but has been used in the bullpen since joining the Twins.

He has a 3.10 earned-run average in 20.1 innings.

Thrown into the rotation by an unscheduled double-header Wednesday at Boston, Graham threw 60 pitches in long relief of Ricky Nolasco in last Sunday's 6-5 victory over the Blue Jays.

"I think I'd be foolish to think I'll get more than 70, 75 pitches out of him," manager Paul Molitor said.
