Severino will try to recover from his shortest start of the year, as he allowed six runs while lasting 2 2/3 innings in an 8-2 loss to the Athletics. The All-Star is 4-5 with a 6.83 ERA in 11 starts since July 7.
Odorizzi struggled against Houston, surrendering five runs over 4 2/3 innings. He was solid early but it unraveled in the fifth, which has been an issue for him all season.
