Smith will take the mound in the second game of the series. After picking up his first win in nearly five years two starts ago, he allowed five runs in four innings against the Yankees on Sunday.
Berrios had a rare off-night against Boston, allowing three runs on nine hits over 4 2/3 innings. But he still had a strong July that saw him post a 3.69 ERA and appear in the All-Star Game.
