DETROIT -- Eddie Rosario and Mitch Garver have been sent back to Minneapolis to deal with their respective injuries, manager Paul Molitor said Wednesday before the Twins' series finale against the Tigers at Comerica Park.
Rosario will have an MRI on his right quad Thursday. He aggravated it while fielding a single in left field during the Twins' 6-1 win over the Tigers on Monday. It was just his second game playing the field since coming back from the same injury on Sept. 7.
Garver hasn't played since taking a foul ball off his catcher's mask last Wednesday.
