MINNEAPOLIS -- Twins manager Paul Molitor, who signed a three-year deal before the season after winning the American League Manager of the Year Award last year, didn't hesitate when asked if he wants to return in 2019.
"Yeah, I don't have any doubts about that," Molitor said.
After a surprise run to the AL Wild Card Game last year, the Twins are at the end of a disappointing season with a 72-84 record entering Wednesday. The front office has yet to give an indication on Molitor's future, but they're expected to meet with the media shortly after the season concludes, and a managerial change would be a surprise.
