Minnesota Twins Snap Five-Game Losing Streak

The Minnesota Twins snapped their five-game losing streak, by beating the Texas Rangers 4-3 in Byron Buxton’s major league debut. The Twins were able to snap their losing streak thanks to nine extra base hits.

Brian Dozier got things started for the Twins with a lead-off home run. It was Dozier’s third lead-off home run and his 13th home run of the season. The Twins second baseman also hit his 20th double of the season. Not only is Dozier doing it with the bat, he’s doing it with the leather. In the third inning Dozier man a leaping grab that robbed Joey Gallo of a hit and was able to flip it to Eduardo Escobar for a double play.
