Minnesota Twins post game: Historic homer pace continues

The Minnesota Twins set another MLB long-ball record as they become the quickest team in history to reach the 200 homer plateau.

The Minnesota Twins had another solid all-around game as Michael Pineda would get the start and pitch 7 solid innings. Once again, the Twins only used 2 pitchers on the evening as Lewis Thorpe came in to pitch a scoreless 8th and 9th. Max Kepler provided the big jolt tonight connecting on a 3-run shot in the 2nd to break the game open for a 5-0 Minnesota lead.
