Grossman, Kepler provide pop, take Price deep

MINNEAPOLIS -- Twins right fielder Max Kepler broke a streak of 21 straight games without a homer with a go-ahead two-run blast off Red Sox lefty David Price in the fourth inning at Target Field on Wednesday, while designated hitter Robbie Grossman connected on his first career leadoff homer in the first.

Kepler, who hadn't homered since May 25, snapped his streak of 89 consecutive plate appearances without a homer by going deep to right field with two outs off Price. Price was ahead 1-2 in the count, but Kepler turned on an inside changeup to give the Twins the lead.
