Gibson, Twins Hand Royals Their First Loss

The Minnesota Twins snapped a three game losing streak and handed the Kansas City Royals their first loss of the season Wednesday evening, by dropping the Royals, 3-1. Twins starting pitcher, Kyle Gibson was like Mr. Freeze tonight, as he chilled the red hot Royals.

Gibson picked up his first win of the 2015 season and improved to 4-0 all-time against the Royals. After a rough outing against the Tigers, Gibson bounced back in a big way. Gibson worked 6.2 innings and gave up one run on nine hits. All nine hits were singles and Gibson manufactured a number of ground ball outs.
