Former Twins reliever who was part of fire sale already injured with new ball club

The Los Angeles Dodgers placed right-handed reliever Brock Stewart on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation on Tuesday, according to the Dodgers' transaction log. Stewart, whom the Twins traded to the Dodgers in exchange for outfielder James Outman on July 31, made just four relief appearances (4.91 ERA with three strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings pitched) with Los Angeles this season.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts informed reporters that there is no structural damage in Stewart's shoulder, according to the Los Angeles Times' Jack Harris. Stewart received an injection and will be sidelined through next week, but he is expected to return within the next few weeks.
