The D-backs have aquired Twins infielder Eduardo Escobar, a source tells MLB.com's Mark Feinsand. Arizona is sending outfielder Gabriel Maciel, who is the team's No. 11-ranked prospect, right-hander Jhoan Duran (No. 19) and right fielder Ernie De La Trinidad.
The 29-year-old Escobar leads the Majors with 37 doubles, and he's hitting .274 with 15 homers and 63 RBIs in his seventh season in Minnesota.
Escobar, who is also an impending free agent, is owed roughly $1.7 million the rest of the season.
