Cahill had his best start of the season Saturday, beating the Astros with seven scoreless one-hit innings. The righty struck out seven and walked one. He has a 0.85 ERA in eight starts at home, compared to a 6.62 ERA in seven road starts.
Stewart’s first two MLB starts did not go as planned, as the rookie allowed 6 runs in 7 innings. That’s good for a 7.71 ERA. He’ll look to right the ship against the A’s after starting both his previous games vs. the Tigers.
