After missing 13 games due to a sprained ankle, Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Tyus Jones is expected to return against the New York Knicks on Friday.
While Jones isn’t having a great season statistically, the Wolves will gladly welcome back a friendly face into the fold.
Jones was just the first domino to fall at the guard position for Minnesota in January and February. Jeff Teague missed eight games before returning for the Wolves’ last three games prior to the All-Star break. Derrick Rose missed six games as well.
