The Wolves added former Los Angeles Lakers sharpshooter Mike Penberthy to their full-time coaching staff prior to last season, primarily to help Ricky Rubio with his jump shot but also to help the rest of the roster.
By all accounts Penberthy was a solid addition, and Rubio frequently credited Penberthy with assisting in an improving jumper. Here’s Rubio on Penberthy, from a CBSSports.com interview via the above link to A Wolf Among Wolves:
