Wolves make it official, sign Derrick Rose

The Wolves finalized today on Independence Day the work they did late Saturday night in the opening hour of the NBA's free-agency period and officially signed guard Derrick Rose.

The team was able to announce the agreement during the NBA's moratorium that doesn't end until Friday because the contract is a league minimum deal.

The Wolves don't announce terms with signings, but it's a one-year deal worth $2.393 million, according to a source with knowledge of the contract.

The Wolves on Monday also reached agreement with free-agent forward Anthony Tolliver, but since that is a one-year, $5.
