With training camp fast approaching, the Wolves once again missed out on a quality veteran they were chasing to the New Orleans Pelicans. Dante Cunningham agreed to a deal with the Pels yesterday, choosing them over the Wolves about a week after Tony Allen also signed with them. While I agree jambalaya and po’-boys are more appealing than...hot dish and lutefisk, what else do they got that we don’t?
The answer is playing time, I suppose, which, grumble, OK. Fair enough.
According to David Aldridge, the Wolves made a push for Andrew Bogut, who ultimately signed with the Lakers.
