The Minnesota Timberwolves returned home on Thursday evening to host the Dallas Mavericks, who were playing on the second night of a home/road back-to-back and, partly as a result, without superstar guard Luka Donu010diu0107, who missed the contest due to a left quad contusion.
It was a busy day for the Wolves organization, whose minority partners Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez reportedly agreed to exercise their option to purchase an additional 40% of the Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx. There was a deadline for the duo to exercise the option by December 31.
