This offseason, Chase Budinger has a player option on his contract to decide whether to return to the Timberwolves for the 2015-16 season or test free agency. He is due to make $5 million should he choose to stay in Minnesota.
I came across this while checking my Twitter feed today, which might give us a hint as to what Budinger is leaning towards regarding his big decision.

Darren Wolfson of KSTP sports seemed to disagree, but the rumor is officially out there nonetheless.
