Update on Malik Beasley’s Legal Situation

An update to the ongoing legal situation surrounding Malik Beasley was finally announced early Tuesday morning, and according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Minnesota Timberwolves guard will serve his punishment after the season concludes:

Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley was sentenced today to 120 days in the Hennepin County Workhouse with work release and home confinement option — to be served at end of the season, stemming from charges via October arrest, per his attorney Steve Haney. pic.twitter.com/PeQqCuGFYK

Shams went on to report that Beasley’s threat of violence charge will be reduced to a misdemeanor after completion of his probation.
