Timberwolves' trade pain stings all over again after Karl-Anthony Towns' comment

It's been over a year since the Minnesota Timberwolves traded Karl-Anthony Towns to the Knicks for Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo, and a protected first-round pick. Although a lot has happened since then, and the players involved have grown accustomed to their new teams, the effects of the trade still linger for Towns.

After New York beat Minnesota 137-114 on Wednesday night, Towns said that he was still "stunned" by the trade. He admitted that it still doesn't feel right not to see a Timberwolves jersey with his name on the back:

"I feel more like a Knick now after everything we went through last year, but it's weird to see that Wolves jersey -- especially the fire black one -- and not see 'Towns' on the back of it.
