The Timberwolves roster is full, with 15 guaranteed contracts on the books. Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s set in stone with training camp less than a month away.
Indeed, the roster isn’t exactly balanced, with eight players that exclusively play either power forward or center on the team. The likes of Kevin Garnett, Adreian Payne, and Nikola Pekovic could all be bought out or waived, albeit for different reasons.
The only true shooting guard on the roster is third-year starter Zach LaVine, with small forwards Andrew Wiggins and Brandon Rush likely to see second-team minutes at the two.
