As we inch ever closer to real, live basketball being played, the makeover of the Wolves’ arena continues as well.
The Timberwolves, presumably, are operating the TC Renovation Twitter account, and have given their followers a steady trickle of information and behind-the-scenes looks at the remake of one of the NBA’s older arenas. Last year, fans were treated to the brand new scoreboard hung over the court. This year, the Minnesota Lynx are playing their home games at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul while the Target Center renovations are completed in advance of the 2017-18 NBA season.
