Timberwolves outlast Denver in overtime to clinch first playoffs spot since 2004

It took overtime, but the Timberwolves are back in the NBA playoffs after defeating Denver 112-106 at Target Center.

Andrew Wiggins made a pair of free throws with under 15 seconds to play in OT to seal the victory.

Minnesota will be the No. 8 seed in the Western Conferene and play No. 1 seed Houston. The Timberwolves have not made the playoffs since 2004.
