Timberwolves offer 2 free game tickets for new-shoe donation

A pair of new shoes could get you into a Minnesota Timberwolves home game this winter.

The Salvation Army has partnered with Timberwolves rookie Karl-Anthony Towns on a shoe drive that will offer game tickets in exchange for donations.

While supplies last, you can take a pair of new, unused shoes to the Target Center box office and get a voucher redeemable for two tickets to either the New Orleans Pelicans game on Feb. 8 or the Boston Celtics on Feb. 22.

The shoe drive will run through Jan. 29.

The Salvation Army is seeking shoes for men and women, including larger sizes, that are suitable for winter.
