Timberwolves’ Norchad Omier changes mind on two-way contract, joins Cavs instead

The Minnesota Timberwolves will have to look elsewhere in their bid to fill their open two-way roster spot after Norchad Omier reneged on his agreement with the Timberwolves to sign a two-way contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers instead. Michael Scotto of HoopsHype was the first to report this development.

Omier was with the Los Angeles Clippers last season and suited up in six games, averaging 2.8 minutes in 4.0 minutes of play. The 6-foot-5 power forward spent the vast majority of last season in the G League, splitting time with the Cleveland Charge, the Cavs’ affiliate, and San Diego Clippers, the Clippers’ affiliate.
