Minneapolis/St. Paul – Top-ranked high school boys basketball teams from Minnesota and the Midwest will square off at the 20th annual Timberwolves Shootout, presented by Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine, on Saturday, Jan. 2 at Target Center. The 2016 Shootout includes some of the nation’s top college prospects including Gary Trent Jr. of Apple Valley and the Hurt brothers of Rochester John Marshall.
The Shootout's first game at 9:15 a.m. features Champlin Park vs. Lincoln High School, (IA). After going 31-1 last season, Champlin Park began their 2015-16 season with six consecutive wins and return a pair of Rivals150 players in juniors McKinley Wright and Theo John.
