Timberwolves Free Agency: Offseason targets at center

Given the wear-and-tear of facing some of the league’s best centers, it may be best for the Wolves to consider moving Karl-Anthony Towns to power forward spot. He would certainly have the edge over any power forward he plays, with the exception of Anthony Davis.

Listed at 7′-0″ and 248 pounds, Towns is a lot more athletic than the vast majority of the league’s other centers. He does have the body frame that would presumably dominate opposing players, but also lacks defense at times that allows other players to body him up.

Don’t get me wrong, Towns has improved tremendously in the second half of the season.
