On Wednesday, it was announced that the Minnesota Timberwolves are bringing back their classic "tree" jerseys for the upcoming 2025-26 season. The classic black jerseys with an outline of green trees and giant block letters are one of the most iconic jerseys in league history. The Timberwolves teased the return of the jersey on social media with a photo of Anthony Edwards rocking the iconic jersey.
For years, Timberwolves fans were begging for these jerseys to return. Now, new owners Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore have granted fans their wish.
Notably, the Wolves wore this jersey (with some tweaks) as their alternate jersey from 1997 to 2008.
