Timberwolves fans are still patiently waiting for an expected announcement

Kevin Garnett is the best player in the Minnesota Timberwolves franchise history. The Big Ticket is a one-time MVP, 10-time All-Star, and eight-time All-NBA player with the Wolves. Additionally, he led the Wolves to their first conference finals appearance. However, KG still doesn't have his iconic No. 21 jersey hanging from the rafters of the Target Center.

The reasoning for this is a longstanding issue with former owner Glen Taylor. With Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore officially taking the reins, though, it's been speculated that Garnett's number will be retired this season. Furthermore, it's been reported that KG might seek a role within the organization.
