Now in his sixth season, Anthony Edwards has spent his NBA career as one of the more durable superstars. In each of the previous three seasons, he has appeared in 79 games, only missing three.
That made the Timberwolves’ game on October 26 all the more surprising and gut-wrenching. Early in the first quarter, Edwards left the court seemingly injured. It was revealed the next day that the 24-year-old suffered a right hamstring strain.
When Shams Charania tweeted out the following day about the injury, he wrote that it would keep him out approximately two weeks.
