The Minnesota Timberwolves should not trade for D’Angelo Russell

The Minnesota Timberwolves have been looking for their point guard of the future ever since they had to settle for Jeff Teague in the summer of 2017.

Teague has been solid during his three-year stint in Minnesota, but the Wolves will likely be moving on from the 31-year-old point guard after this season.

Timberwolves fans thought D’Angelo Russell would be the heir to the point guard throne after he met with Minnesota last summer and already had a strong relationship with superstar center Karl-Anthony Towns.
