Now, it’s Keita Bates-Diop’s turn.
It’s admittedly difficult to get these comparisons right, although I already took a rough stab at this just prior to the draft. Of course, that was a time during which plenty of reputable draft analysts suggested that the Timberwolves may take the plunge and take the reigning Big Ten Player of the Year at No. 20. Of course, he slid into the second round, and the Wolves landed what appears to be a steal.
