The Minnesota Timberwolves were able to come away with a win in overtime to the Memphis Grizzlies by a final score of 99-97.
While Karl-Anthony Towns did not play well overall, he did hit the game-winner as time expired in overtime.
Even though this isn’t technically the Grit ‘N’ Grind Grizzlies from a few years ago, their opponents can still expect a slow paced, grit n’ grind type of game. That’s what happened on Wednesday night as Minnesota was unable to score 100 points or more for the first time since Dec. 21 against the San Antonio Spurs.
