Just about everybody knows Phil Jackson made the triangle offense famous with his Championship teams in Chicago in Los Angeles. What’s not known, however, is just how far-reaching this triangle offense is at every level of basketball, including your own Minnesota Timberwolves.
I’m not saying Tom Thibodeau has implemented the triangle into this Timberwolves team, or anything close to that. What I have discovered (with the help of Coach Nick’s video at BballBreakdown) is the ever-evolving concepts of the triangle offense throughout Thibodeau’s career as a head coach.
It may not always come in traditional triangle fashion, but the principles are there.
