The Minnesota Lynx got some positive news Tuesday morning, as the WNBA officially announced that guard Kayla McBride was named as an 2025 WNBA All-Star Game replacement for the injured Rhyne Howard.
This was certainly music to Lynx fans ears. Minnesota’s President of Basketball Operations and Head Coach Cheryl Reeve was not shy to speak her mind about the league-leading Lynx only having two players selected as All-Stars. They held a 17-2 record at the time and were several games ahead of the next few teams in the standings.
The Lynx are currently 19-4 and 3.
