Karl-Anthony Towns notches double-double in All-Star Game loss

It was unclear how many minutes Karl-Anthony Towns would see in Sunday’s All-Star Game. It was his first ever appearance in the midseason showcase, after all, and first-timers don’t always get too much run.

But with teammate Jimmy Butler officially receiving a DNP-CD, the Team Stephen bench was only 11-deep. Ten of the 11 players saw at least 18 minutes, with Boston’s Al Horford coming in as the low man with just 13 minutes.

In Towns’ 18 minutes, he shot 7-of-11, including 6-of-7 in the first half. He also pulled down 10 rebounds and only committed one turnover.
