The Minnesota Timberwolves' rookies are already making their mark at training camp. On Wednesday, Anthony Edwards complimented both Rocco Zikarsky and Joan Beringer, and marveled at the latter's intensity.
"Rocco blocked my shot during a drill today, and I was like 'how?' this don't even make sense," Edwards said. "Joan don't stop playing hard, he just don't get tired."
It says a lot that Minnesota's best player was caught off guard by the performance of these two rookies. To do it in a game setting is one thing, and to do it in a practice setting is another thing altogether.
