In the past couple of months, Gorgui Dieng has had a lot on his plate.
Not only was he going to practices and playing in the NBA for the Minnesota Timberwolves, but he was also taking online classes from the University of Louisville. This made for one tough grind down the stretch of the season for Dieng.
However, Dieng was able to earn his degree at the University of Louisville, which celebrated it’s graduation commencement ceremony yesterday.
“I knew that once you stop, it’s hard to go back; that’s what a lot of NBA players said,” Dieng said to Andy Greder of the Pioneer Press back in March.
