If Timberwolves fans weren’t aware of EuroBasket before, most are now. That is because of the recent news regarding shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo.
The 28-year-old was slated to play for Italy, but that will no longer occur. A left big toe ailment has forced him out of the tournament, and there is not yet official word as to what the extent of the injury is. Fans are concerned though, because a left big toe injury sidelined him for a little over a month last season.
Rudy Gobert, who could have represented France, has opted not to play in EuroBasket.
