Monte Morris has spent the last eight seasons playing in the NBA. That includes playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves after they acquired him at the 2024 trade deadline. On Tuesday, it was reported that the 30-year-old agreed to a non-guaranteed deal with the Pacers. That has since changed, and Morris still remains on the market.

Shams Charania was the first to tweet out that Morris was heading to Indiana, with Michael Scotto later pointing out that it was a non-guaranteed deal. With Tyrese Haliburton likely out for the season, a path was possible for the 6-foot-2 point guard to earn his way on the opening night roster.
