ESPN does its NBA Rank annually during the offseason in which they name who they believe will be the top 100 players for the upcoming year. The 2025 list continued today (September 24) with players #50-11. Two Timberwolves are included in that 40-player group. One of those is Rudy Gobert who came in at #49.

Now 33 years old, it seems as if ESPN believes that Gobert will show a slight decline in the 2025-26 season. That is evidenced by his 15-spot drop from last year’s list when The Stifle Tower came in at #34.
